The 6.7L High-Output Power Stroke V8 Turbo Diesel B20 engine utilizes diesel engine exhaust braking. This feature restricts the flow of exhaust gases from the engine to create back pressure, which helps to slow the truck down. It also improves driver control while traveling downhill and reduces overall brake wear.
