    • XL

    • XLT

    • Lariat

Power and Capability

The Ranger, like all Ford trucks, is built Ford tough. This means from the external construction down to their core, Ford Rangers are up for anything. The Ranger has a variety of performance and drive train options, including:

    • 2.3L EcoBoost Engine with Auto Start-Stop Technology

    • 10-Speed Automatic Transmission with Tow/Haul Mode

    • SelectShift Automatic Transmission

    • Electronic Shift on the Fly with Neutral Towing Capability (available as 4x4 only)

The Ranger can tow up to 7,500 lbs and has a best-in-class payload of 860 lbs, so if your adventure includes a boat or trailer, you are all set. Just hook it up and hit the road!

Built Ford Tough

The body of the Ranger can take a beating without being damaged. It is constructed with:

    • Steel Frame and Frame-Mounted Steel Bumpers

    • Independent A-Arm Front Suspension

    • Parabolic Rear Leaf Springs

When you turn off the main road, the Ranger is ready.

Packages

On its own, the Ford Ranger can do a lot, but if you like extreme adventures, a performance parts package will ensure that your Ranger can keep up. There are three packages to choose from. Each package combines style details with off-road features, such as suspension leveling and fog lights.

For true off-road enthusiasts, there are several other exciting packages available. The FX4 Off-Road package comes with off-road enhancements such as an exposed steel front bash plate and Terrain Management System. New in 2020, the FX2 package comes with an off-road suspension and a cluster screen to let you know about the pitch and steering angle.

The Terrain Management System is off-roading technology at its finest. The system comes with four drive modes:

    • Normal

    • Grass/Gravel/Snow

    • Mud/Ruts

    • Sand

Anywhere you decide to go, the Ford Ranger will adapt to the conditions. The Trail Control feature is also available. It offers driver-activated cruise control designed for navigating rough terrain.

In addition to the performance and off-road packages, there are appearance packages. These packages allow you to get a Ranger that fits your style and look. The four packages are:

    • Chrome

    • Sport

    • Black

    • STX

With a wide range of customization options, you can get a Ranger that can take what you throw at it and looks good doing it!

Custom Cab

The Ford Ranger has two cab options so that you can maximize what matters to you. The options are:

    • SuperCab – two doors, bucket seats for two in the front, a bench seat for two in the rear (removable with XL), rear under-seat storage, 6 ft bed

    • SuperCrew – four doors, seating for five, rear under-seat storage, 5 ft bed

If you prefer to adventure solo or need more room for gear, the SuperCab is the way to go. If you’d rather share your adventure with friends and family, you get a little less bed space but can fit more people comfortably.

Adventurous Technology

Ford offers you both safety and entertainment technology. Centered in the front of the dashboard is an 8-inch touchscreen which offers:

    • SYNC 3 with Voice Activation

    • FordPass Connect with 4G LTE Wi-Fi Hotspot

    • WAZE – crowdsourced navigation

The Ranger’s infotainment system is compatible with both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. This allows you to stream your music, check navigation, and make a call home to say you are staying out late.

The B&O Sound System by Bang & Olufsen has 10 speakers and 675 watts of amplified power so you can immerse yourself in whatever music suits the adventure. The precisely-placed speakers allow everyone to get the full experience.

When it comes to safety technology, check out Ford Co-Pilot360. This is a suite of driver-assist and safety technology that comes with:

    • Blind Spot Information System with Trailer Coverage

    • Pre-Collision Assist with Automatic Emergency Braking

    • Lane-Keeping System
