America’s heavy-duty
truck leader is back at it again with the introduction of the
new 2020
Ford Super-Duty F-350 XL.
As the saying goes, you don’t stay ahead of the pack by standing still and this
is so much more than a statement when it comes to this beastly Ford work truck.
Offering
Toughness Around Every Corner
Bringing muscle
to the pickup truck market, this new Ford heavy-duty pickup truck offers a kind
of toughness that no other truck can. Beginning with power provided by a
6.2-liter Single Overhead Camshaft (SOHC) 2-valve Flex Fuel V8 engine that
provides up to 385 HP and 430 lb.-ft. of torque. Partnered with a ten-speed automatic
TorqShift® transmission with selectable drive modes, including Tow/Haul, Eco
& Deep Sand/Snow. For a bit more power, this Ford Super-Duty F-350 XL also
comes with an optional a 6.7-liter Power Stroke® V8 Turbo Diesel engine that pushes
the horsepower up to 430 horsepower and 1,050 lb.-ft. of torque as well as the
most powerful gas engine available in a full-size pickup, a 7.3-liter OHV PFI
GAS V8.
Best-in-Class
Capability
Along with power, this workhorse is built capable for every job at hand.
Out-hauling and out-towing any other full-size pickup, this hard-working heavy-duty
pickup truck features an available Tremor Off-Road Package with large tires, a
specialized front suspension, and various rock- and terrain-crawling modes for
off-road adventure. A new high-airflow grille design also results in more
efficient and improved airflow and cooling. Along with the capability to go
anywhere, the Ford Super-Duty F-350 XL also offers (when properly equipped), the
best-in-class towing capability of 21,000 lbs. and an available diesel
conventional towing rating of 24,200 lbs., which is higher than any other
heavy-duty pickup. For those who need to tow the really big loads can breathe a
sigh of relief because this Ford Super Duty truck offers a maximum gooseneck
tow rating of 37,000 lbs. Tack this on with Pro Trailer Backup Assist and Trailer
Reverse Guidance and you can rest assured that each load is hauled safely. This
rolling office even comes standard with a 4G Wi-Fi hotspot that can connect up
to 10 devices at once, so your passengers can stay in touch wherever you roam.
Only
High-Strength, Military-Grade, Aluminum-Alloy Body in its Class
The only Super Duty truck built with a high-strength, military-grade,
aluminum-alloy body, the lightest of heavy-duty Ford trucks is remarkably
stronger than many others. Despite being lighter this truck is more
dent-and-ding resistant than most and is not even subject to rust. This Ford
Super-Duty truck is also built with a fully boxed frame, built with 95 percent
high-strength steel with up to 10 cross members for a stiffer frame to minimize
flexing and twisting while maximizing strength and torsional rigidity.
