2018 Ford Fusion Trim Levels Explained

Ford’s stylish and forward-thinking midsize sedan is the Ford Fusion. Since its introduction in 2006, the Ford Fusion has been popular to say the least. There’s nothing ordinary or run-of-the-mill about the 2018 Ford Fusion in any of its five trim levels. Whether you’re looking for a family car on an entry-level budget or a midsize car with a full load of features, you’ll find it in the 2018 Ford Fusion at your Southern California Ford dealers.

2018 Ford Fusion S

Are you thinking economical without giving up basic equipment? That’s the Ford Fusion S. It comes standard with 16-inch aluminum wheels LED taillamps, sport fabric upholstery, SYNC infotainment with Enhanced Voice Recognition, power door locks and windows, steering wheel-mounted audio and cruise controls, and Push Button Start.
Efficient motoring comes from a 2.5-liter Duratec 4-cylinder engine, front-wheel drive, and a smooth-operating six-speed transmission.

2018 Ford Fusion SE

Like the S trim, the 2018 Ford Fusion SE comes standard with a 2.5-liter Duratec engine. However, the 1.5-liter EcoBoost with Auto Start-Stop technology and the 2.0-liter EcoBoost four-cylinder engines are available as options. Intelligent AWD is also available on the Fusion SE. LED signature lighting and 17-inch aluminum wheels adorn the exterior.
In the cabin, the 2018 Ford Fusion SE gets value-added features such as a power driver’s seat, SiriusXM radio, a compass and exterior temperature indicator, and the sound system upgrades from four to six speakers.

2018 Ford Fusion Titanium

The Titanium trim adds many of the options midrange car owners want. Standard features include power front seats with heated leather seating surfaces, dual-zone climate control, a 12-speaker Sony sound system, SYNC 3 with optional SYNC Connect, ambient lighting, aluminum sport pedals, Intelligent Access with Remote Start, and more.
The powerful and sporty 2.0-liter EcoBoost 4-cylinder engine is in all 2018 Ford Fusion Titanium models, and 18-inch aluminum wheels are standard equipment. Intelligent AWD is optional for amazing traction.

2018 Ford Fusion Sport

The Ford Fusion Sport stands out in a crowd with unique dark-tinted exterior accents and gray painted aluminum wheels. A spunky 2.7-liter EcoBoost V6 is packed under the hood along with a six-speed SelectShift automatic transmission. For a controlled ride, the Fusion Sport has continuously controlled damping suspension and standard-equipment Intelligent AWD.
The interior is special too. With Dark Earth Gray Miko and leather-trimmed power heated front seats, a nine-speaker sound system, SYNC, and active noise control, the driving enthusiast will truly appreciate this midsize sedan.

2018 Ford Fusion Platinum

At the peak of the range is the 2018 Ford Fusion Platinum. It includes all the Titanium trim’s premium features including the 2.0-liter EcoBoost 4-cylinder engine. Intelligent AWD is available and it sits on 19-inch polished aluminum wheels.

The Platinum trim has outstanding finishing inside. Premium leather seating, a leather-wrapped console and instrument panel, heated and cooled front seats, SYNC 3 with a 12-speaker Sony sound system, and a voice-activated navigation system are included.

As standard equipment on the Platinum model, you receive Blind Spot Information System, Lane Keeping System, rain-sensing wipers, Enhanced Active Park Assist, Adaptive Cruise Control, Pre-Collision Assist, and a power moonroof. All these top-tier features can be added as options on the SE, Titanium, and Sport trims also.
