AMENITIES FOR AN ACTIVE LIFESTYLE
Load up and go. The 2020 Ford Transit Connect Passenger Wagon offers plenty of flexible seating and cargo space, fold-flat second- and third-row seating and standard dual sliding side doors. What’s more, you’ll find its easy maneuverability more than capable of getting you in, out and all around.
VERSATILITY TO FIT YOUR LIFESTYLE.
Whether you’re transporting cargo, carrying passengers or doing both, the Transit Connect Passenger Wagon can handle it. The long-wheelbase model has room for up to seven with plenty of cargo space. Add to that its ability to get you in, around, between or out of tight spaces, and you’ve got a vehicle versatile and flexible enough to keep up with everything life might throw your way.
BEST-IN-CLASS CARGO VOLUME BEHIND FIRST ROW*
The 2020 Transit Connect Passenger Wagon has 106 cu. ft. of space behind the first row for leg room, cargo or anything else your active life might need.*
OPTIONAL FLEX-FUEL CAPABILITY
The sporty 2.0L gasoline direct-injected engine is engineered to run on E85 (85% ethanol and 15% gasoline), unleaded gasoline or any blend of the two. Ethanol is cleaner burning and more renewable than conventional fuel.
TIRE PRESSURE MONITORING SYSTEM
Standard on all Transit Connect Passenger Wagon models, the Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) monitors air pressure amounts for each tire and will illuminate a warning light on the cluster screen if the pressure in any one of your tires goes below the recommended tire inflation level.*
Standard side-wind stabilization technology39 is designed to help reduce driver stress while operating a vehicle in high winds. The system monitors sensors and if a strong wind gust is detected, it carefully applies the brakes on one side to help the driver stay in his/her lane. It works alongside Roll Stability Control™ on slippery surfaces – to help avoid skids, lateral slides and potential vehicle rollovers.
ENHANCED ACTIVE PARK ASSIST
While you’re driving slowly near parking spots, activate this available feature and your Transit Connect will scan for an available one. Ultrasonic sensors measure your distance from parked vehicles and, once an appropriate spot is identified, you’re signaled to stop and accept the system’s assistance. With a few actions on your part – shifting, accelerating and braking – the vehicle can smoothly parallel park or back into a perpendicular parking space.10
AVAILABLE FORWARD AND REVERSE SENSING SYSTEMS
If your vehicle is in Drive and moving slowly, forward sensors will sound a high-pitched beeping tone if something is there in front of you. The beeps will become more rapid as you approach an object, and within 10 inches they become a solid tone. The sensors turn off when you put your vehicle in Park or Neutral. The Reverse Sensing System works the same way using sensors in the rear bumper.
For compatible devices, an available wireless inductive phone charger* lets you charge your phone just by setting it down. This means no more struggling with ports, plugs or charging cables.
