Discover the all-new 2020 Ford Edge SUV
An all-new Ford Edge arrived at Ford dealerships in Southern California for the 2019 model year, and there’s no question it has been a popular choice. The 2020 Ford Edge rides the momentum with new visual enhancements to make these midsize Ford SUVs even more desirable.
What’s new for the 2020 Ford Edge, and which features stand out in its class? This is what you need to know.
What’s New for 2020
Building on last year’s solid foundation, the 2020 Ford Edge largely incorporates visual enhancements.
• A new Titanium Appearance Package lets you add 20-inch polished aluminum wheels, chrome-accented body color lower cladding and bumpers, and bright chrome upper grille surround and accents. The interior adds Brunello and Brick Red accents for the door inserts and floor mats and includes an aluminum applique on the cluster.
• The color palette has newly-introduced tones like Atlas Blue, Desert Gold, Star White Metallic Tri-Coat, and three other choices.
• Dual-zone electronic automatic temperature control is now standard across all trim levels.
When you’re a true music fan, you won’t settle for just any two-bit radio. The 2020 Ford Edge SUV offers an available B&O Sound System by Bang & Olufsen. Twelve speakers surround you in an immersive audio experience so you can really rock out to your jam.
SYNC® 3 technology gives you easy access to SiriusXM satellite radio, enhanced voice recognition, available navigation, and a capacitive touchscreen hub.
Every 2020 Ford Edge puts safety at center stage. That’s why Ford Co-Pilot360™ is standard on all trim levels. That includes BLIS® with Cross-Traffic Alert, Lane Keeping System, Pre-Collision Assist with Automatic Emergency Braking, Auto High-Beam Headlamps, Rear View Camera, and more.
Want to be pampered while you’re in the car? The 2020 Ford Edge offers premium comfort among the trim levels including available leather-trimmed power-adjustable sport seats, heated and cooled front seats, heated steering wheel, and dual-zone automatic temperature control. Heated rear seats are also available to cut the chill for rear-seat passengers too.
For the Ford Edge SE, SEL, and Titanium models, a twin-scroll 2.0L EcoBoost engine is used across the board. With 250 horsepower and 275 lb.-ft. of torque, the 2020 Ford Edge has more than enough oomph to make you grin. It’s paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission with a rotary dial shifter as standard equipment, giving you fingertip control of your direction.
And for greater traction and handling, opt for Intelligent AWD with all-wheel drive disconnect in your Edge. You’ll discover the meaning to the term, ‘grip and go’.
Ford Edge ST
Looking to make a statement on the road and off the line? The 2020 Ford Edge ST is a match made in heaven. It features a 2.7L V6 EcoBoost engine with 335 horsepower and 380 lb.-ft. of torque to give you goosebumps with every twitch on the throttle. Intelligent AWD comes standard for premium traction and handling.
Visually, the ST has eye-catching accents. ST-embossed high-bolstered leather-trimmed seats with Miko inserts, available ST Performance Brake Package with gloss-black 21-inch aluminum wheels, red-painted calipers, and summer-only tires, LED signature lighting, and optional Adaptive LED headlamps make the Edge ST a stand-out model.
