Throughout the
world, the Ford Mustang reigns supreme as a best-selling sports coupe. Upgrades
for 2020 include the standardization of FordPass Connect on all models, along
with exciting new exterior colors.
Five trim
levels are available, including EcoBoost, EcoBoost Premium, GT – the GT Premium,
of course – and Bullitt. If you’re looking for the perfect blend of performance

Design
Like the rest
of the Mustang lineup, the GT Premium has an instantly recognizable appearance
that turns heads. A honeycomb grille and athletic body lines come standard, as
do 18-inch wheels and LED headlamps. The exterior mirrors are heated and
feature integrated turn signals.
Meanwhile, the
interior offers the ideal blend of sportiness and comfort. Highlights include a
6-way power driver’s seat, a 4-way power passenger seat and ambient lighting.
The upholstery is leather-trimmed, and the front seats are heated and cooled.
Dual-zone Electronic Automatic Temperature Control (DEATC) also comes standard.
It’s also worth
noting that several packages are available on the GT Premium. Some of the most
noteworthy include the California Special Package, GT Performance Package, and
the Premium Plus Package.
Performance
Mustangs have always
been known for performance and the GT Premium is no exception. Power comes from
a 5.0L V8 engine rated at 460 horsepower and 420 lb.-ft. of torque.
Transmission options include either a standard 6-speed manual or an available
10-speed automatic. A limited-slip differential sits outback.
Additional
go-fast goodies include an Active Valve Performance Exhaust System with Quad
Tips, Electronic Line Lock, selectable drive modes and Launch Control. The
Track Apps feature also comes standard, so that you can keep a tab on
performance metrics via the instrument cluster.
Underneath the
car, you’ll find a MagneRide Dampening System, unique stability control and Selectable-effort
Electric Power-Assist Steering (EPAS).
Technology
The 2020 Ford Mustang GT Premium brings pony cars into the 21st century
with the latest technology. Onboard, you’ll find the SYNC® 3 infotainment
system with an 8-inch touchscreen display, as well as support for both Apple
CarPlay® and Android Auto™. A Bang and Olufsen Premium Audio System comes
standard, as does FordPass Connect mobile Wi-Fi.
Safety
Although you
