2019 Ford Mustang GT Premium Convertible features and specs
The Ford Mustang convertible has been redesigned for 2019, following the same updates made a year ago to the Mustang’s coupe version. Those updates include an all-new front-end design with updated headlights, grille, and lower-front fascia. In back, the taillights have a new “boomerang” design.
Power and Performance
The power for the 2019 Ford Mustang GT Premium Convertible comes with a 5.0-liter DOHC V8 engine that delivers 460 horsepower and 420 lb.-ft. of torque. The engine features advancements like dual feed port and direct injection with twin independent variable cam timing (Ti-VCT). Power is delivered via a choice of either a six-speed manual or a smooth-shifting 10-Speed SelectShift Automatic Transmission.

lid spoiler, dual bright exhaust with rolled polished tips, daytime running lights, LED Headlights with LED signature lighting and LED fog lamps, Pony projection lights, body-colored heated side mirrors with integrated Blind Spot mirrors and turn signal indicators, and finished off with LED sequential taillights.
There are even more comfort and convenience features on the interior of this sports car. Dual-Zone Electronic Automatic Temperature Control Cabin that’s fed fresh, clean air through a Particulate Air Filter. There’s a Fully Lined Cloth Top with Center Latch and Electromechanical Motor along with Active Noise Cancellation to assure that it’s as quiet and comfortable with the top down as any hardtop. For the driver there’s a Leather-wrapped Steering Wheel with Cruise and Audio Controls and Tilt/Telescoping Steering Column along with a Leather-wrapped parking brake handle. Regardless of whether the top is up or down the driver is assisted with an auto-dimming rearview mirror, rear view camera, and Reverse Sensing System.

with a 6-way power front-passenger seat. Both leather-trimmed front bucket seats are heated and cooled.

Entertainment and Connectivity
Standard is a 9-speaker sound system with amplifier that features SiriusXM Radio (subscription required), the popular SYNC 3 system found in Ford cars and trucks, FordPass, and two smart-charging USB ports. Optional upgrades include a B&O Premium Audio System with 12 speakers including CD player, HD Radio, and trunk-mounted subwoofer. FordPass Connect and Voice-Activated Navigation System with pinch-to-zoom capability are also available.
