Although SUVs dominate the current automotive market, there’s still room for an exceptional car, like the Ford Fusion Hybrid. For the 2019 model year, the midsize sedan has been thoroughly upgraded making it more stylish and efficient than ever.

2019 Ford Fusion Hybrid

A long list of updates enhance the 2019 Ford Fusion Hybrid. Highlights include a new design front and rear, faster-charging capability and increased driving range. The impressive Ford Co-Pilot360 is now standard equipment as well. Available trim levels include SE, SEL and Titanium.

The Fusion isn’t your grandpa’s sedan; nor is it your neighbor’s oddly shaped hatchback hybrid. Ford’s bold four-door seamlessly blends modern style with cutting-edge efficiency. A prominent grille, sleek body lines and three new exterior colors (Agate Black, Rich Copper Metallic Tinted Clearcoat, Velocity Blue) help the hybrid car turn heads wherever it goes.

Inside, occupants are greeted by sculpted seats covered in available leather. Optional ambient lighting sets the mood while heated front seats keep things toasty. Unlike the rest of the Fusion lineup, Hybrid models also get a SmartGauge with EcoGuide instrument cluster. The display provides real-time information to help the driver maximize vehicle efficiency.

The Fusion sports a handsome exterior and stylish interior are just fringe benefits – what really defines the sedan is its hybrid powertrain. Maximum efficiency comes from a system comprised of a 2.0L four-cylinder engine and AC motor. Together, the pair is good for 188 hp and 129 lb.-ft. An upgraded lithium-ion battery helps the car achieve an estimated 610-mile driving range (with a full charge and full tank of gas).*

Further efficiency comes from regenerative braking with a built-in brake coach. The technology helps recover kinetic energy typically lost during braking, so it can be sent to the battery for later use. Plus, drivers can select a dedicated EcoSelect drive mode for even greater fuel economy.

Of course, a car as sophisticated as the 2019 Ford Fusion is brimming with the latest technology. Infotainment duties are handled by the renowned SYCN3 system, complete with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Meanwhile, the FordPass digital platform provides up to ten devices with 4G LTE Wi-Fi access.

The Fusion has what it takes to keep you and your family safe. Ford Co-Pilot360, standard on the hybrid car, is one of the most advanced driver assistance suites on the market. The bundle includes Pre-Collision Assist with Automatic Emergency Braking, Blind Spot Information System with cross-traffic alert, Lane-Keeping System, rearview camera and auto high-beam headlamps. Stepping up to Ford Co-Pilot360 Assist gets you Adaptive Cruise Control with Stop & Go and voice-activated navigation with SiriusXM Traffic and Travel Link.

Additional key safety features include the LATCH child restraint system and available inflatable rear safety belts. Airbags – driver and front-passenger knee, front-seat side and side-curtain – come standard.
